Google launches new location extension to display ads for more ROI

This is good news to those who depend on display network ads for their most business.

From 14th of March 2017, Google added a new useful extension to display network ads. This extension includes information like photos, business hours, and store location, giving more information to users relating to an ad.

Is this new location extension helps advertisers?

Google says “Yes”.

In a statement Google said “In fact, early testing has shown that advertisers see an increase in clicks to their business, with 60% of clicks on this extension related to directions or store information.”

“Location extensions can help people find your locations by showing your ads with your address, a map to your location, or the distance to your business. People can then click or tap your extension to get further details about your location on your location page, which includes the most relevant business information all in one place. Location extensions may also include a phone number or call button so that users can easily call your business,” Google added.
